The Nicholsons Shopping Centre was constructed in the 1960’s with a further phase in 1995, the centre is fully enclosed and is Maidenhead’s only shopping centre. Accessible via King Street and Queen Street, the primary entrance to the scheme is directly from the High Street. H&M, Topshop, WH Smith and Tesco Metro anchor the Nicholson’s Centre with the rest of the scheme hosting a mix of fashion, food and convenience retail.
The 4.46-acre town centre project also provides a significant opportunity for improvement / redevelopment in line with the Town’s Area Action Plan. Led by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, this bold and inventive plan establishes an exciting regeneration focus that will significantly improve the Town’s vibrancy and vitality.
The project was brought by Tikehau Capital / Areli Real Estate in March 2019 and community involvement will commence shortly thereafter. A dedicated web site will be established aimed at keeping the community fully involved and informed.
